How do I know which therapy is best for me
We offer a consultation during which your practitioner will assess your wellness needs or goals and match up the best IV for your personal requirements. If you would like to discuss your options before making an appointment, a member of our expert medical team can discuss this with you via telephone. You can call your local clinic to arrange a phone consultation. Please note all final consultations must be carried out to assess your medical history and ensure the highest level of safety is maintained.
What can I expect from a consultation?
Our expert team will explore your wellness goals, medical history, lifestyle and nutritional preferences during your consultation. You will also have your vital signs taken at consultation to ensure your IV drip can be delivered safely to you. After consultation, your personalized plan will be compiled to help achieve your wellness goals, using our extensive menu of nutritional therapies.
What does an IV therapy involve?
It’s where an infusion or formulation of fluids and nutrients is delivered directly to the bloodstream using a cannula. This method means we can get up to 100% absorption of the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Can I have an IV therapy if I’m pregnant?
No. Our IV therapies are not suitable for pregnant women or during breastfeeding.
Will it hurt?
Your clinical practitioner will recommend applying a localized numbing spray. This will minimize any discomfort from the cannula needle being inserted. Our practitioners are fully trained and experienced in making sure your appointment is as comfortable as possible.
Are there any side effects?
Any medical intervention has potential side effects, and REVIV’s therapies are no exception. Side effects are rare but our medical professionals, within the clinic, are trained to respond quickly and effectively should any problems arise.
How soon will I notice the effects of my IV therapy?
The effects depend on your own personal physical and health status. You may feel the effects the next day or it may take a course of IVs before you notice or feel any effects.
How often can I have an IV therapy?
This depends on your individual circumstances, goals and past medical history, which can play an important role in the decision. For maintaining optimum levels of vitamins, minerals and nutrients, IVs are recommended every 6-8 weeks. For a specific target, these might be recommended once or twice weekly, or weekly for a short period of time. There’s no harm in having frequent IV therapies if guided correctly by your practitioner.
Are IV therapies safe?
IV therapies are invasive and any invasive medical therapy carries some risk. However, REVIV clinics are led by highly qualified doctors adhering to stringent medical protocols and safety standards. Our practitioners are licensed and trained registered professionals with years of experience. To date, we’ve conducted more than 1million therapies globally offering plenty of reassurance to our clients.
Have REVIV products and ingredients been tested?
Our ingredients all have appropriate certification and are supplied through regulated pharmacies. Our intravenous drip therapies that contain several ingredients, whether they are personalized or not, have undergone laboratory assessment to ensure that they are safe. This assessment ensures that the osmolarity, pH and density of the infusion is acceptable, as well as ensuring there is no significant endotoxin or particulate formation. Each infusion we make up has a certificate of analysis for these parameters.
Is IV therapy safe?
Modern day IV therapy has been around for over a century and is used due to its unparalleled efficacy in hydrating and delivering nutrition and medications into the body. When properly administered to healthy subjects by trained clinical professionals, IV therapy is extremely safe. All medical procedures do contain risks, benefits, and alternatives and prescriptive nutrition eligibility criteria can vary on circumstances. People with certain medical conditions such as heart or kidney problems may experience complications with IV therapy. Other subjects may benefit but would require additional monitoring. As such it is paramount to work with licensed medical professionals that are experienced in the field and understand the scope, limitation, and setting where IV therapy is delivered.
What is your safety record?
REVIV have conducted over one million treatments worldwide and have an exemplary safety record, with side effects being very rare. We follow strict policies and procedures and work within all medical regulations that govern our practice, at each clinic location to minimize adverse events. We assess every individual, at each appointment, to ensure the therapy is safe to receive that day. We are led by medical professionals that, if any issue arises during therapy, it can be managed by fully trained experts to minimize risks to you.
